The use of basalt cylinders in galvanized casing for insulation of heating pipes in the street (Kyiv, Podil).

This project has been applied to the cylinders of basalt wool 60 mm thick density 80 kg/m3, selected to the desired pipe diameter, coated galvanized casing.

The thickness of 60 mm should be the minimum when applying the material on the street!!! Learn more about choosing the right thickness You can read here.

Galvanized casing is necessary to protect the insulation in the open air: moisture, UV protection, bad weather and mechanical damage.

During the installation of the cylinders was used special clamps at the rate of 2 pieces per 1 running.m.
