Acoustic wool insulation in timber frame wall serves as a sound absorber. Fits into the space between the base and facing the inside of the frame as the middle layer.
Often cotton wool for sound insulation of walls and ceilings is in the plates in packages.
Acoustic wadding can be made of: basalt staple fiber and natural materials (cotton, linen, polyester).

Basic requirements when choosing wool:

  • wool density 30 to 60 kg/m3
